Hard Times.

We all roam through life without much care or concern of how bad things really could be. We act like the printer jamming at the office, or having to wait for 3 cars to pass at the stop sign, are a real inconvenience. We take for granted good health, and a family. Until something happens, and our world comes to a screeching halt. Bad news, tears falling, hearts breaking, memories flying. Where do you turn, how can you even begin to understand? Your mind is flooding because life just hit you out of no where.

But trust in our God.

Look up, not out. He will pour His everlasting Love and Joy into our hearts. All you have to do is ask, and you will receive. Pray, and you will hear Him. Invite Him to be near to you, and to heal you, and the situation. No matter how bad it is. He wants to help, He wants to wrap His wings around you and tell you that everything will be okay. Our God is stronger than we realize, and through Him we can do ALL things, and we can understand better than we ever could without Him. Through His unfailing love, we won’t be shaken by anything that the world throws at us. We will be free in HIM and in His love.

Trust the One who gave His life, so that you could have yours. You can beat this. You can move this mountain. You can cross this valley. You will succeed in joy and peace, and in understanding for what lies ahead for you.

Look up and you will see He is with you in everything, until the end of time. He’s got this. You’ve got this.

Be Still.

Be still…he whispers… the last thing I wanted to hear. I was ready to move, go, jump, soar- anything… but be still. Be still? How can I be still? I just took this huge leap of faith, I trusted god and gave up everything, and all he replies is “be still”?. I wait a couple weeks and ask again, God what’s next? I’m ready! He again said, “be still”. How much longer God?…I asked…
Ugh patience… it’s probably the hardest thing for me, and even more so when I’m excited about something. The unknown used to send me into panic mode, I’d plan everything, But now suddenly the unknown isn’t quite so scary, it’s the “being still” that I’m struggling with. Why does god make us wait? Is he just being mean? No, not at all. Sometimes god just isn’t ready for the next season of our lives to begin because his timing isn’t our timing. We’re ready when we’re ready, but Gods timing is (usually) much different. He knows our hearts better than we do and He knows what we need before we do. For these reasons, I’m thankful that god says “be still” (mostly 😉 I can see at times when things worked out much better because it was gods way, my way would have ended much differently. I’m thankful we have a God that loves us so much that He only wants the best for us, for gods children, even if sometimes that means telling us no. We’re so lucky to know we don’t have to have it all together, because he’s already taken care of it. All we need to do is give it to Him.

“Let go and let love” 💕 Trust me, it’s much easier on the heart.

Never alone.

No matter what you’re going through or dealing with you are NEVER ALONE. I don’t care what the enemy tells you, someone, somewhere, cares! If anyone reading this feels hopeless and alone, message me! I’d love to pray for you and talk to you. Tomorrow is a new beautiful day. A new chance to fall in love with Jesus. A new opportunity to change someone’s life. Don’t give up on it when things get hard. Keep going. Keep pushing on. God never promised an easy life, he just said it’d be worth it! 🙌🏼

For His good.

How many times in a week do you feel like you can’t compete with the world? Maybe you were late for work or your car got a flat tire… maybe your TV just died or you even lost your job. Remember what Joseph told us about being sold into slavery by his own brothers. It doesn’t matter what god throws at you, because no matter how bad it is, He will use it for your good. It will be the best way. Don’t give up. 💕

Fall Cleaning.

You know when the seasons change sometimes so do our hearts. We not only need some fall cleaning in our homes, but in our hearts. Some people God only intended on us to hold onto for a short period of time, while others we are supposed to hold onto for life.

I encourage you to take a look at your life today and see who god is urging you to “clean”. Is someone holding you back from Gods will for you? Is something holding you captive? Pray about it, and set it free. 🕊

You are capable.

“We can do all things through Christ that gives us strength.” Don’t you know that sometimes the path will seem impossible, but as long as we remember that our Father is with us, nothing can’t be obtained, nothing is impossible. Look to Him in all things and he will make your paths straight!

Gods canvas.

Life gets busy sometimes, like crazy busy. You run from point A to point B without taking even a second to notice the world around you. You look outside and you see gray clouds and rain falling against the window, or you see a hot sunny day with employees outside melting away in hard work. But do you notice how all of that changes if you just change your perception? If you change the eyes that you look through? After dealing with a lot of stress & life changing decisions earlier this year, I comforted myself by becoming really busy. I started getting more involved in my community and working two jobs. I quit taking the time to look out at the world around me. I’ve recently realized, or been reminded, of how much more beautiful our world is when I look at it through gods eyes. Everything seems much more shimmery and bright. A stormy gloomy day becomes an artist masterpiece. A hot miserable summer day becomes just the same. So much of the time we are all guilty of focusing more on ourselves and our own problems that we forget that there’s this beautiful world that God has painted for us, that were passing by. Every day, God gives us a beautiful sunrise, and a beautiful sunset. And every day there are thousands, if not millions, of people who don’t take the time to see even one half of that equation. God could’ve easily made an ugly world with ugly scenery and ugly experiences, but he made just the opposite. He painted us the most beautiful canvas we could ever imagine.
I realize that I need to take more time to enjoy God’s gifts than I do to enjoy the world’s gifts, and I hope that you’ll join me.

Where are you going?

Are you standing still or are you running at full speed towards God today? Have you given up or has your strength been renewed? Have you slowed down to wait for someone to catch up or are you blazing your own path? Where are you now? Better yet, where are you going?

God has a plan lined out for me and for you. We may only see a few feet in front of our faces, or we might see plans laid out before ourselves. When you get to a place where you have no idea what’s next, just know that God does! He said it’s all going to be okay, just to trust in Him who wrote your plan. Things happen for crazy reasons and the often times make little to no sense in the moment. I’ve learned in recent months to just TRUST God. He has it ALL taken care of and it WILL be amazing.

I’ve prayed and prayed that God would show me which path to take and whether to speed up or slow down. My conclusion, never slow down for anyone or anything. If they’re meant to be in your life God will teach them to speed up. You shouldn’t have to ever sacrifice your calling or your God for anyone. Things happen for reasons unknown, but God knows. God knows that there’s something better coming if only we can hold on long enough to see it. You can’t sit down and you can’t give up! You can’t let satin get above the ground beneath you. He will try to ruin God’s plans for you, oh he will try. BUT- if he’s trying really hard to stop you, he must KNOW that God has something amazing waiting for you. He only tries to stop God from being glorified. Don’t let him win. It’s God who needs to be successful. You deserve to win.

Give it all to God and he will forever be glorified!

You are here.

Where are you now? Where do you want to be?

We all have this vision or dream for our lives, but is it Gods vision or just our own? Sure itd be great to fly around the world as a missionary and share gods love but is that what God wants for your life or is it just what you want to do with your life? If it’s really gods calling, he will be with you always. You won’t grow tired or give up, even if you want to. It’s not to say it will always be fun or easy but whenever you run into a Goliath, God will fight for you. Whew! No worries 🙂 If you’re pursuing something for your own desires then God will show you that it’s wrong. God will always try to bring us back to his path for us whenever we stray away from it.

Isn’t that a relief? 🙂

Storms Run Out Of Rain.

As the song says, “Every storm runs out of rain…”

Eventually the clouds will fade and the sun will peak through, and your storm will run away. The puddles will dry up, and the grass will grow again. Clouds may appear in your skies again from time to time, as a storm may come near, but you know that the worst of it is behind you. Storms can’t last forever, especially with a gentle and loving God such as our own. Tears eventually will dry up, and a smile will creep across your face. God has shown you the other side, it’s in the near distance. He didn’t leave you or abandon you. While it may not make any sense for right now, someday it will. Someday you can look back with a smile and say you’re glad that it happened. It made you who you are and who you will become.

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under Heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1. Sometimes we have to fall down, flat on the ground, in order to get to where God needs us to be. We have to struggle in order to grow into strength. It’s just the way it is. It doesn’t make God a mean Father or unloving, it makes Him a Father. He only ever does what is best for us, He makes no mistakes. God doesn’t change, He is the same today as He was 2000 years ago, as He will be 2000 years from now. God threw me into a hurricane, and I saw no reason to believe it’d ever go away. No reason to believe the sun would shine again or that the rain would stop pouring. But sure enough, today it did! Today I felt the release of much heartache and distress, and felt an opening into joy and a future. I felt my arms open wide to a loving Father. I thought He had been hiding out, or that I must have messed up in some way. The devil was telling me lies, and I was full of fear. God says no more. He’s going to take me on the adventure of a lifetime. Where He will lead me, I don’t know, but I know it will be better than where I’ve been, and more than I thought I could have. He did not hurt me to leave me. God broke my heart, so I could learn to live and love as He needed me to. It’s all His perfect plan for me. And I will accept it as my own.
